We all know how important it is for children to enjoy their "learning experience" in order to assimilate the English language more easily. That's why my whole "teaching experience" is based on games and amusing activities for children — designed around a communicative method that helps kids practice the grammar they're learning at school, rather than just completing repetitive worksheets.
Many ESL activities, I've noticed, are nothing more than "fill in the blank" exercises: they miss the whole point of learning to speak and understand a new language. It's much easier and more fun to learn by doing, and you'll be surprised at how quickly you'll see valuable results.
As Montessori used to say, materials for children should be beautiful and colorful, so they naturally want to use them — and that's exactly the spirit behind my materials too.
In this section you'll find active games that require a large space for children to move and run, as well as quieter games you can play right in the classroom, songs and related activities, and — last but not least — handicraft, gardening, and drawing activities.
